Cable was born to Cyclops and Jean Grey. His mother died giving birth to him, so the Phoenix Force was passed on into him, but it too was also reborn. He grew up with the rest of the X-Men's children, Stormclaw, daughter of Storm and Wolverine, Freon, daughter of Shadowcat and Iceman, Ape-Man, son of Beast, and Salamander, son of Nightcrawler. He led the new X-Men through thick and thin.
Trivia[]
- Cable has a friendly rivalry with Stormclaw, both wanting to be leader. It is similar to the conflict their fathers had, but nowhere near as violent.
